Licorice Root Tea
Ingredients
  • 3 slices fresh ginger
  • 1 stick of licorice root
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tsp grated orange zest
  • 1 clove
Instructions
  1. Put the ginger and licorice root in a pan, add 4.5 cups water, and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Take the pan off of the heat and add all of the remaining ingredients.
  2. Let the tea steep for another 15 minutes.
  3. Strain through a sieve into a teapot of mugs.
